My PDF needs are pretty simple. I get documents here and there and I need to either fill out forms, or sign my name and add a date. You would think that the other PDF applications on the App Store would all be able to handle that simple task. Amazingly, no. Fortunately this one works like a charm. The interface is simple. It lets you add your signature via an already saved image file, or you can actually use your mouse to scrawl one in there if you so choose. (Pasting an image is probably the more professional way to go… but to each his own. The mouse drawing method actually does work pretty well as theres a separate window for writing it). The text entry is very clean and straightforward, and allows you to edit the text, change the fonts and colors and tweak the position it after youve entered it). This is a well thought-out, simple and well executed app. The price is nice and low, and it does exactly what I need it to do.

Hats off to developer Gerald Ni for this clean and infinitely useful app. This is exactly what I’ve been needing all these years that I’ve been printing PDF forms, filling them out/signing them by hand, then scanning and re-emailing them back. Not only does this handy utility allow me to run a completely portable and paperless office anywhere in the world, but it also saves me from now lugging around a portable scanner/printer. One of the main reasons why this app is superior to other, similar apps on the App Store is that it allows you to add your own text on TOP of the PDF - which means that you don’t have to annoyingly draw boxes on PDF files which are not already fillable. Filling out PDF forms from your computer is now accomplished with a mere point and click action. Last but not least - in addition to the critical feature mentioned above, you can use your finger and draw your signature anywhere you need it in a PDF file, using the trackpad or mouse. Very intuitive interface and an absolute joy to use. There are very few apps that I love but this is one that I cannot say enough good things about. It is absolutely perfect. I love the capability of editing pdf documents and saving an “edit” version that I can go back to later and edit again. My job requires me to constantly send out different forms for specific patients and it’s awesome that I don’t have to make a new form for each patient every time. I can just simply go back into the document and edit it to match a different patient’s info. There was an issue that I had about a month back with the zooming function but that’s been completely resolved with the new update and I am very pleased with the customer service as they addressed the issue immediately after receiving my complaint. Now the app is flawless! Big thanks to the developer for creating such a useful tool!

Have been using this app for months, very wonderful and helpful app. I have PDF Editor but it’s getting too expensive to upgrade. The only thing I use is adding text and filling out forms, thanks to this alternative, I don’t even need my scanner and printer. And I can see this version improves a lot since last version, the lines used to have jagged edges when drawing signature, but it looks much smoother in this version, good job.

I just used the PDF editor to edit a PDF and I went to File - print and ….nothing!! I pressed the other print button that’s on the app…and nothing. I reset my iMac and I was able to print 2 pages and I could not print the rest! You guys have to fix this printing issue… it is quite annoying. I have to print this document and am debating on buying another PDF editing app and request my money back on this one...

This app let me sign and stamp PDF documents from scanned images - super easy and just what I needed, saves a ton of time and hassle and allows me to work paperlessly. Very happy customer; would recommend this app to anyone for the same use.

Very fast way to fill out PDF, you’ll know when an app is great when you need to do something and the function is just right there. I can easily add text to a PDF file, and when I need to fill in the box check marks are available, I can also write my name in the signature field directly. No more printing, this is a great app in that way. Good job.

Crashes every time I try to enter the password to open a protected PDF doc

All I needed to do was sign a PDF, but I dont have an iSight camera, because Im using a Mac Mini. I ended up having to buy this app to create a signature. Using the signature maker feature was pretty obnoxious. Note in the first image above, how it shows Draw, Eraser, Clear, Accept? What it doesnt have is SAVE. The app needs an easy way to save a signature. And since Draw and Erase dont show you where you are on screen, good luck getting a decent looking signature. This app kind-of does the job, but its poorly designed. The ONLY reason Im not rating it one star is because it did manage to get the job done. Still, I hate this app.

What is the point of being able to edit and sign a PDF if you cannot print it. This application cannot reliably print documents or pages. If you will ever need to print out a PDF, don’t expect to do so with this application. Really poor functionality for a App that is this expensive (and which most people will use 2-3 times a year at most). Shame on you Gerald for putting something so unreliable on the App store.

"I use this often and find it VERY handy, especially when I am on the road. It is simple and easy to figure out in just a few minutes. A basic program with day to use and easy to learn functionality. Great tool if you have forms to sign in emails and online forms. No more printing, signing, scanning and resending. Just save a copy of the file you want to fill in or sign to your desktop (or wherever you like), start Sign PDF, sign and or fill out your form/contract, save (a new signed copy or replace original) add (attach) to your email or fax and fire it off back to wherever you need to send it. Super happy withthis app so far. BTW - using a pen like the kind you use on a iPad/ tablet is much "cleaner" if you use a trackpad (rather) than using your finger or mouse.” The above is a perfect review (so I just copied it). The only thing I would add to this app is the ability to save a signature so you can jst insert your signature on documents after you sign it one time instead of every time (kind of annoying). Also, I would add a drag ’n drop window so that that you simply drag a file right from your email into Sign PDF instead of having to save the file first and then open the file from within the App.

Signature now is part of Preview not needed any longer if known was part of Yosemite OS 10.10 - I would have not purchased.

This app would be great if i had a trackpad but “signing with a mouse” is a non sequitur!

I love this app but i wish you could ROTATE THE PAGE. Sometime people send you upside down and sideways docs and it’s nice to be able to just rotate it and sign. Hope they can add that feature in the future.

This is the first time that I have every witten a negative review. I have just wasted 1 hour using the app which used to work 100% and now is totally unusable. When you are trying to insert text or a signature it also decides to insert it elsewhere vertically across the document. Very Very disappointed.

1.) Problems when entering social security number into electronic documents 2.) “tap and draw” feature for writing signature does not work or respond. only way is too click and hold with the mouse and try your best to mimic your signature as if you were actually writing it 3.) does not input your signature, creates a super-imposed picture of your “drawing” which you then have to resize/ rotate and move to the correct location. 4.) Problems when resizing your signature, your original signature remains behind your new resized signature and is unfixable. because of this, signature resizing is rendered impossible. must attempt to draw a very small version fo your signature in the “signature draw” window. DO NOT BUY THIS APP IT IS A JOKE
